The Michigan Resistance was created by volunteers from the Hillary campaign who wanted to keep fighting. We are completely run by volunteers.
The 2016 election taught us a powerful lesson: if we don't fight for our rights, we will lose them.
We can't just show up once every four years. We can't expect someone else to take care of it.
Like President Obama said, "We are the change we seek".

There's a reason why we're called the "Michigan Resistance".
Our focus is on making a difference in Lansing. Our state legislature is completely controlled by the Republicans, and they are often trying to pass awful bills.
We've got the inside scoop on what's happening in Lansing: we have weekly calls set up with a few Democratic State Representatives, and they tell us what bills we should focus on.
If there's a piece of legislation in the U.S. Congress that will affect Michiganders, we absolutely will call about that as well. But our priority is making a difference on the state level.
